The Mahler Players return in December 2021, with the extraordinary final trilogy of symphonies which Mozart wrote in a blaze of inspiration in the summer of 1788. We are looking forward to playing once again in the atmospheric surroundings of Inverness Cathedral as well as returning to the beautiful Strathpeffer Pavilion.

*Change of conductor*
This weekend’s concerts will now be conducted by Susie Dingle, with Tomas Leakey self-isolating in London due to Covid-19. Tomas and the orchestra are very glad to have found a replacement conductor of Susie’s calibre and are grateful to her for stepping in at such short notice. We are also indebted to Rob Farmer, who conducted last weekend’s rehearsals in Tomas’ absence.
