The Mahler Players return to our roots with the Highland premiere of Mahler’s Seventh Symphony. The orchestra’s Principal Horn Rob Farmer has created a powerful chamber orchestra version for 35 players – maintaining the drama and mystery of the original while rendering it playable in the beautiful and atmospheric surroundings of Inverness Cathedral and Strathpeffer Pavilion. Join us for what are sure to be two very memorable concerts on 18th and 19th June 2022.

“They proceeded to deliver performances of both symphonies that were rip-roaring, rumbustious and rich . . . with the swagger of Jimmy Page playing Kashmir.”
